The alarm is too quiet.

Barley rings at your ringer volume, and no app is allowed to raise it. Turn it up in Settings → Sounds & Haptics, with the Ringtone and Alerts slider.

Barley says “Alarms are off.”

iOS has taken away its permission to set alarms, so nothing will ring. In Barley, tap Open iOS Settings and switch Alarms on.

The Feed button waits after a restart.

If your iPhone restarts overnight, the alarm still rings. The Feed button may wait until the phone is first unlocked. The alarm itself is never lost.

Restore a purchase.

Open the Room tab and tap Restore purchases, under Bought before? Everything bought with your Apple Account comes back, and nothing is charged twice.
